Today, we’re at the forefront of building the technology and the team to appraise, acquire and operate these e-commerce microbrands at scale.
You’ll be working with a team of passionate founders, advisors, and operators who have a vision for change the ecommerce ecosystem. We’re eager to continue expanding our team with smart operators who are hungry to grow alongside us.

What you will do:

We’re looking for a growth marketer who’s passionate about driving profitable growth, building and executing marketing plans across multiple channels and brands, and executing in a technology-forward way. You will be working with some of the top marketing minds in the industry, with years of experience managing millions of dollars of ad spend.
As a part of the marketing team you will be a critical part of our company’s growth. Your work will directly impact multiple e-commerce brands and their customers. In line with the importance of the role, we will do everything we can to invest in your development. This will be a remote role.

Who you are:

You are an experienced growth marketer. You’ve done it before and have an eagerness to dig into the data to uncover business-driving insights, take swift action, and reap the returns of your work. You’re able to diagnose a brand’s opportunities, prioritize the biggest impact, and execute. You're able to break goals into solvable component parts and effectively execute. You build great plans to exceed goals.

You are analytically rigorous. You have a deep bias towards using data and analyses to drive decisions. You love seeing the power of great analyses and collaborating with peers to shatter growth targets. Your second language is performance KPIs and you know your numbers and the inputs needed to continue improving those KPI metrics.
You take a test & learn approach. Your bias is to use agile methodologies and lean into test & learns to unlock new wins. You generate new ideas through inspiration from your analyses and blue-sky creative ideas. You methodically setup tests, track impact, and take action to amplify what works and scale winning tactics across brands.
You are collaborative, organized, and thoughtful. You actively solicit teammate’s feedback and can get things done through informal influence. You’re organized and demonstrate judicious decision-making. You have a track record of managing agencies and contractors to achieve goals.
You thrive in fast-paced environments. At this stage we’re still learning. You will iterate with the rest of the team to continuously evolve and improve the marketing playbook.
You take pride in your strong sense of ownership. Your ability to execute and eliminate blockers helps you and the entire company move fast with confidence. You know when to raise your hand and ask for help.

What you’ll do:

You’ll refine the paid marketing strategy. You’ll evolve the marketing strategy and tech tools by incorporating learnings and improvements into planning efforts. You’ll refine, test, and iterate with the goal of continuous improvement and breaking through new frontiers of performance wins through scalable tactics. You’ll take calculated risks, be creative, and use analytical rigor to achieve goals.
You’ll build the growth models and own performance outcomes. You’ll develop the templates and playbooks for marketing spend allocations, budgeting, and KPI forecasting/goal-setting. You’ll measure and report on performance, staying accountable to the results.
You’ll test tactics across brands and scale what works. You’ll brainstorm new tactics and technologies to test, set up testing plans, execute, and track results. You’ll collaborate with product and data science to automate what works and/or scale technology tools across brands.
You’ll effectively manage others. You’ll manage contractors and agencies to execute marketing plans across paid marketing, channel strategy, brand marketing / positioning, owned social channels, and growth initiatives. You’ll build the tools, playbooks, and templates to empower external service providers to deliver exceptional results.
You’ll collaborate with colleagues, be a trusted partner, and coach for performance excellence. Through informal influence and strong relationship building, you’ll effectively collaborate with colleagues across marketing, supply chain, logistics, customer support, product, data science, and engineering. You’ll be a trusted advisor to portfolio marketers and coach to internal and external partners.

What you already know:

5+ years of performance or digital marketing experience including 2+ years of D2C ecommerce experience.
1
2+ years managing others including contractors and/or agencies.
Inclination towards using technology and partnerships to achieve goals.
Excellent analytical and modeling skills.
Experience at a high growth D2C ecommerce company is a plus.
