VP of biology
Gordion Bioscience
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive innovation in oncology research, with a particular focus on genomics and key areas including KRAS, Myc, and TP53
- Lead and coordinate the work of biologists, data scientists, and other research staff in the development and validation of experimental protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate biological research with computational data analysis
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team
- Represent Gordion Bioscience in scientific forums, conferences, and collaborations with external partners
- Continuously align with leadership on project priorities for both personal and team objectives
Qualifications:
- PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field, with a strong focus on oncology
- At least 5 years of experience in biological research, with a significant portion dedicated to cancer research
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving strategic objectives
- Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with the latest technologies and methodologies in biological research and genomics
