This is a unique opportunity to work across product teams, translating complex compliance changes into practical, customer-focused solutions. You’ll play a key role in helping businesses navigate regulatory challenges—so they can focus on what they do best.

s What You’ll Be Doing;

  • Monitor and interpret legislation, regulatory updates, and best practices across North America, with a global lens.
  • Advise product and engineering teams on compliance requirements, including sales tax, identity and KYC, payment, data privacy, and electronic invoicing.
  • Engage with regulatory authorities and trade bodies, helping to influence Sage’s strategic direction in compliance.
  • Create clear, actionable assets and guidance to support internal and external stakeholders.
  • Become the subject matter expert for US compliance, building strong cross-functional relationships.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience reviewing legislation, tax, or accounting standards.
  • A professional qualification in accounting or tax (e.g. CPA preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ideally you will be a part qualified or fully qualified accountant
  • At least 2 years post-qualification experience in a compliance, tax, or regulatory role preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex regulatory content.
  • Experience using AI and software in a business capacity preferred.
  • Fluent Spanish is desirable (but not essential), particularly for translating Spanish compliance materials into English.
