Position: Product Owner

Location: McLean, VA - onsite | Contract with potential for extension

What You’ll Do

• Define and prioritize product backlogs to align with client goals and data-driven strategies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear user stories
• Partner with engineering and data teams to ensure timely, high-quality product delivery
• Monitor product performance and iterate based on insights and user feedback
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement across delivery teams

What You’ll Bring

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner and/or Data Analyst
• Strong expertise in the Mortgage industry (processes, data, regulatory context)
• Deep knowledge of ETL processes, data analysis, and Informatica
• Proven ability to independently drive product delivery, including requirements, user stories, backlog prioritization, roadmap, and squad leadership
• Experience leading cross-functional collaboration and business validation (checkout)
• Strong partnership with QA teams, including test scenario definition, defect resolution, and end-to-end testing support (manual & automated)

Bonus Points For

• Familiarity with data platforms, analytics tools, or cloud technologies
• Certification such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent
• Experience working with distributed or global teams
• Exposure to regulatory or risk-focused data initiatives
• Background in business analysis or data strategy
