Vice President, Full Stack Engineer

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full Stack Engineer to join our Markets and Execution Engineering team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Lead design and prototyping for the micro component layer across front end and backend systems
• Train and provide oversight for developers in a global team environment
• Analyze business requirements thoroughly before initiating design and development
• Define and maintain architecture, technology standards, and best practices for applications, middleware, and databases
• Manage the technical environment including software, data, interfaces, and integration
• Research new tools and technologies to develop improved analytics solutions
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, assist in debugging, and contribute directly to project deliverables
  
  

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development and technology leadership
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs
• Experience with Oracle or other relational databases
• Knowledge of Micro-Services Architecture, scalable high resiliency systems, and workflow management preferred
• Preferred skills in Angular (or React/JavaScript) and Big Data technologies such as Apache Hadoop, HBase, Spark, Hive
• Strong testing skills and experience with Agile development methodologies
• Familiarity with SDLC tools including Maven, Jenkins, Git, and testing tools such as JUnit, Selenium, Mockito, Cucumber
