MANTECH seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented Linux DevOps-System Engineer to join our team located in the Ft. Meade, MD area.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Leveraging Git for version control and GitLab CI/CD for automating processes.
• Developing and maintaining Python, Bash scripts.
• Automating system configurations using Ansible for efficient infrastructure management.
• Updating and maintaining Puppet modules, manifests, and Hiera data configurations.
• Applying knowledge in infrastructure, hardware, and networking.
• Utilizing secure RESTful APIs
• Foundational experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, or 10 years of total experience without a degree.
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Puppet, Ansible
• Experience with Bash, Python
• Experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD
• Experience with Structured data formats (Examples: JSON, YAML, XML)
• Experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
• Experience with Infrastructure, Hardware, and Networking
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Red Hat Package Manager (RPM) (Packaging with RPM Spec)
• Containerization experience using Docker, Podman or Kubernetes
  
  

Clearance Requirement

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as, the copy machine/fax machine/computer/printer.
