After founding and building a consumer electronics manufacturing company, we realized we were contributors to the 50 million tons of e-waste generated every year. So we founded MOLG.
MOLG is enabling circular manufacturing to maximize efficiency, reduce waste and help tackle the growing threat of end-of-life emissions. We help you develop cost-effective sustainable products using AI-driven design software and scalable, autonomous micro-factories. Using robotics for automated assembly and disassembly, we can give key components - such as PCBAs, motors and batteries - second, third and fourth lives in new circular products and create a closed-loop supply chain. This creates a closed-loop supply chain incorporating component harvesting which delivers three key outcomes: lower component sourcing costs, new revenue streams, and significant contribution to sustainability goals.
As a robotics engineer, you will help design, build, and test our circular manufacturing technology. Our multi-robot micro-factory approach means you will be expected to collaborate with other robotic, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and software engineers here at MOLG. As with many growing companies, you will need to be able to wear multiple hats and be able to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative work environment.
- Demonstrable experience with building robotic systems, end-of-arm tooling, and/or fixtures
- Proficient in Python and/or C++
- Confident and willing to work in ambiguity and move projects forward
- Experience in ROS-driven architectures
- Ability to design production-grade solutions in CAD
