ABOUT US
Hey! We’re Molg 👋 We’re building robotic systems that make electronics manufacturing circular. We work with hyperscalers and leading electronics manufacturers to automate how hardware is designed, manufactured, disassembled, repaired, reused, and recovered. Using robotics, computational design, and AI, our systems turn today’s e-waste into resilient, data-driven supply chains—and change how electronics are made in the first place.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
As a Finance Manager, you will own and execute the company’s core financial operations while partnering closely with leadership on capital strategy, forecasting, and business decision-making. This role is both hands-on and strategic—ideal for a finance leader who is comfortable working deep in the details while helping shape how the company deploys and manages capital as it scales.

This role plays a critical part in capital efficiency, contract economics, and long-term financial health.
In this role your key responsibilities will be:
Financial Operations & Controls

Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliation
Oversee billing accuracy and cash flow timing
Manage equipment leases and other financing arrangements
Maintain clean financial records and ensure timely monthly and quarterly close
Treasury & Cash Management
Own treasury operations, including cash forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital management
Monitor burn, runway, and capital allocation efficiency
Support bank relationships, payment systems, and financial infrastructure
Capital Strategy & Financing
Support development and management of the company’s capital stack (equity, debt, leases, project financing)
Analyze financing options and trade-offs as the business matures
Support contract and financing negotiations with vendors, customers, and capital providers
Partner with leadership on capital deployment strategy tied to growth and operations
Procurement & Build-vs-Buy Analysis
Support procurement decisions through cost modeling and financial analysis
Lead build-versus-buy and lease-versus-own analyses for equipment, tooling, and infrastructure
Evaluate long-term cost, risk, and return implications of procurement strategies
Product, Sales & ROI Analysis
Partner with product and sales teams to analyze ROI, pricing, and unit economics
Build financial models to support customer proposals, new offerings, and commercial strategy
Evaluate customer and project-level profitability and capital intensity
Strategic & Cross-Functional Support
Provide financial insight to support company-wide strategic initiatives
Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
Continuously improve financial systems, processes, and reporting as the company scales

WHO WE ARE:
We spend our days building robotic systems, developing complex assembly intelligence software, and designing the next generation of circular products for our customers. Given the importance of working hands-on with physical systems, we are a 100% in-person team collaboratively working in our industrial space in Sterling, VA, down the road from the largest data center market in the world. Our facility includes a variety of robots, CNC milling machines, 3D printers, and all the tools needed to build and test our products. It is important to us that anyone on our team that is interested in learning how to use our various pieces of equipment and machinery is taught and can gain the skills and appreciation for making physical things.
THINGS TO KNOW:
We’re a hands on collaborative team with big ambitions, and there’s a good amount of context-switching. We expect people to be autonomous and drive their own work to completion.
We are scrappy and looking to build a great sustainable company for years to come.
As a growing company and startup, priorities may shift as customer or business requirements change. We strive to empower individuals with context and decision-making power to meet this need.
