Nixtla is seeking a Founding Engineer specializing in Full Stack Development to join our core team. This position is crafted for a versatile problem-solver proficient in navigating both the front-end and back-end development landscapes.

• Take charge of front-end and back-end development tasks, delivering cohesive and efficient software solutions.
• Design, develop, and manage internal automation tools to streamline development and operational processes. (We love CI/CD)
• Provide support in ensuring the stability and performance of both development and production environments. (We love monitoring)

• Proven proficiency in full-stack development, with a portfolio of successful projects.
• A sound understanding of DevOps practices and tools, capable of enhancing our continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a systematic approach to overcoming development and operational challenges.
• Self-motivated with the ability to spearhead projects independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong fundamentals in systems programming.
• Familiarity and experience with cloud technologies.

1. (20-minute) Introduction Stage: This initial conversation helps us understand your background and interests. It's also an opportunity for you to learn more about the rol and our company. Expect questions about your experience, why you're interested in this position, and your career goals.

2. (30-minute) Cultural fit: This is a chance for you to meet with the team to learn more about our culture and values. We'll also ask you to share your thoughts on our culture and values to ensure we're a good fit for each other.

3. (Async) Paid Technical Mini Project: You'll work on a small, standalone project representative of tasks you might encounter in the role. It's designed to assess your technical skills in a real-world context, rather than abstract problem-solving. This project will be compensated, and you'll have two days to complete it.

4. (1-hour) Technical interview panel with the team: You'll meet with several team members for a deep dive into your technical knowledge and problem-solving approach. To prepare, review the key skills listed in the job description and be ready to discuss your project work and past experiences in detail.
