About the Role

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of agentic and multi-agent AI systems across EffectiveSoft’s AI Lab and client engagements. This is a hands-on role for engineers who have already shipped AI systems and want to operate with high autonomy and technical ownership.

You will define architecture, guide implementation, mentor engineers, and act as a trusted technical partner to clients adopting AI at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecting and delivering end-to-end agentic AI systems, from discovery through production.
• Designing tool-using agents, workflow orchestration, and event-driven AI pipelines.
• Leading implementation of RAG architectures, vector search, and structured/unstructured data pipelines.
• Making trade-offs across accuracy, cost, latency, reliability, and security.
• Defining standards for LLMOps / MLOps, evaluation, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Partnering with consulting teams to translate business needs into robust AI solutions.
• Mentoring mid-level engineers and shaping internal AI engineering best practices.
• Lead AI technical discovery, PoCs, and production rollouts with clients.
• Contribute to AI service offerings, accelerators, and internal frameworks.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production AI systems.
• Advanced expertise in Python and distributed system design.
• Proven experience designing and implementing agentic or multi-agent AI architectures.
• Deep hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain (advanced usage), MCP, or similar orchestration approaches.
• Strong experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
• Cloud-native deployment experience using AWS (Bedrock), Azure (Azure OpenAI), or GCP (Vertex AI).
• Solid understanding of Responsible AI, security, and governance considerations.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and executive stakeholders.
