Reppls is looking for a Senior Golang Developer for one of our clients — a well-established software development company that delivers complex custom solutions for enterprise customers worldwide.

Their platform is used by hundreds of Fortune-500 companies, including leading global financial institutions, major media groups, technology companies, and government agencies.

Project Overview

The project is a platform under active development that accelerates and improves expert engagement workflows. It enables users to:

• Query vendors
• Discover and manage experts
• Read transcripts from previous expert calls
• Schedule and conduct expert interviews
• Browse ongoing project transcripts

All features are delivered within a secure, scalable environment, ensuring fast access to high-quality insights.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang
• Contribute to system architecture with a focus on scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance
• Participate in technical design discussions and propose backend solutions
• Review code and improve development practices and quality standards
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Product teams
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term fixes
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical documentation
• Optimize performance and resource usage in distributed systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, primarily backend
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang in production systems
• Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and microservice architectures
• Solid understanding of backend system design, scalability, and performance
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and optimization
• Practical experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Advanced SQL skills (complex queries, indexing, transactions)
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with API gateways (e.g., Kong or similar)
• Ability to review code and uphold high engineering standards
• Experience working in distributed, cross-functional teams
• Nice to have: working knowledge of Python and TypeScript / React for collaboration with adjacent services
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher
