Recrucial is hiring a Product Manager – Compliance for one of our clients: a mature, privately held, globally operating fintech company in the online trading and brokerage space.
Our client is a well-established international fintech business, founded in 2006, with a large global customer base, hundreds of employees worldwide, and a broad portfolio of trading products across web, mobile, and partner-driven platforms. The company operates in a highly regulated environment across multiple jurisdictions, which makes this role especially relevant for a Product Manager who enjoys combining product ownership, regulatory complexity, user experience, and business impact.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to work on products where compliance is not a side topic, but a core part of the user journey, risk management, operational scalability, and international growth. About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong focus on compliance-related products and processes.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong product thinking with a solid understanding of regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for building and improving product flows that meet both business goals and compliance obligations in a fast-moving global fintech environment.
You will work closely with Compliance, Legal, Development, Design, BI, Marketing, and other business stakeholders to translate regulatory needs into clear, scalable, user-friendly product solutions.
This is not a purely operational compliance role. It is a hands-on Product Management role focused on turning regulatory requirements into product strategy, product requirements, workflows, user stories, and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead product initiatives focused on compliance, including KYC, AML, GDPR, risk controls, and related regulatory areas.
- Own the full product lifecycle from discovery and requirement definition to launch, measurement, and continuous improvement.
- Translate regulatory and legal requirements into clear PRDs, user stories, specs, and product flows.
- Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Development, Design, BI, Marketing, and other internal teams.
- Ensure product flows meet global regulatory standards across different markets and jurisdictions.
- Identify risks, gaps, friction points, and inefficiencies in existing compliance-related user journeys.
- Propose practical product solutions that balance regulatory needs, business priorities, and user experience.
- Analyze user behavior, funnel performance, and product efficiency while maintaining compliance standards.
- Define and monitor KPIs related to compliance, risk reduction, process efficiency, approval rates, and user journey quality.
- Prioritize roadmap items based on regulatory urgency, business impact, risk level, and operational value.
- Improve onboarding and compliance flows while keeping the user experience as smooth as possible.
- Support audits by ensuring relevant products, flows, documentation, and processes are audit-ready.
- Stay up to date with regulatory changes and adapt product requirements accordingly.
Requirements
Must Have
- 3+ years of Product Management experience in Digital, SaaS, Fintech, or another technology-driven environment.
- Experience working with compliance, legal, risk, or regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Hands-on experience writing PRDs, user stories, product specs, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong business understanding and the ability to evaluate product decisions through the lens of risk and regulation.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills and comfort working with both technical and non-technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Trading, Forex, Crypto, Brokerage, Payments, Banking, or Fintech.
- Familiarity with global financial regulations such as FCA, CySEC, ESMA, or similar regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with KYC/AML systems, onboarding flows, identity verification, transaction monitoring, or risk-based user segmentation.
- Experience with analytics tools such as GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar.
- Experience managing web or mobile products.
- Experience working with AI tools or AI-based products.
