Job Description

Safely is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to help fuel outbound pipeline generation for our sales team. This is a high-impact, outbound-focused role designed for someone who wants to build core sales skills, hit clear performance goals and grow into an Account Executive position.

You’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying professional vacation rental operators, booking qualified meetings, and generating pipeline for our Account Executives.

This role is ideal for a motivated BDR who wants ownership, accountability, and a clear path forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, and sequences
  • Consistently meet or exceed a target of 10 qualified meetings booked per month
  • Generate pipeline by engaging decision-makers at professional vacation rental management companies
  • Research and build targeted prospect lists
  • Collaborate closely with AEs and leadership to refine messaging, targets, and outbound strategy
  • Insurance Producer license within 30 days of employment

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience as a BDR/SDR or equivalent outbound sales role
  • Comfortable with cold calling and multi-channel outbound in a quota-driven environment
  • Proven ability to hit activity and meeting targets
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Self-motivated and account with a “numbers driven” mindset
  • Experience selling to SMB or mid-market customers
  • Familiarity with the vacation rental, hospitality, or proptech space
  • Experience using HubSpot, Gong, Zoominfo a plus

Travel Requirement

  • Occasional travel for industry conferences and in-market customer visits
