We are a small and agile startup accelerated by Techstars, the most active pre-seed accelerator in the world (1% acceptance rate). We just closed a pre-seed funding round of 450k euros and we already serve more than 10 large customers.

We are seeking a creative and experienced UX/UI designer who is passionate about crafting innovative and user-friendly interfaces. We're looking for a professional who has experience in leading or significantly contributing to web and mobile app development projects. The ideal candidate will take ownership of their tasks and actively contribute with fresh, innovative ideas. We prioritize a collaborative approach over a hierarchical structure and are eager to work with an expert who can inspire our team.

• Giorgio Barnabò (CEO/CSO): Ph.D. in AI, strong academic background in Statistics and Finance, former research scientist at Amazon Alexa.
• Leonardo Martini (COO): Ph.D. in Data Science, solid academic background in Maths and Computer Science, former researcher at Harvard.
• Tullio Persiani (CPO): 5+ years of design and marketing experience, former Design teacher at the Sapienza University of Rome.
• Simone Silvestri (CTO): Full Stack Engineer with 5+ years of experience in microservices architecture development.
• Songle Jin (Founding Engineer): M.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering with 5+ years of working experience, including The Fork.

Required Experience

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design or Industrial Design
• 3+ years of professional experience in developing UX/UI projects, preferably supported by a Portfolio.
• Google UX/UI Course
• Experience in Prototyping Design and Design Thinking Principles.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Capability to effectively communicate with engineers to gain a fundamental understanding of the code structure and accurately estimate the time needed for various development tasks.

Plus

• Knowledge of a second language besides English
• Experience in graphic design/motion graphics

• Annual Salary Range: 25k - 30k EUR
