We are looking for an enthusiastic Editorial Intern to join our talented Content team on The Folklore Edit. You’ll be working with editors and content producers on exciting briefs from original written content and social media creative to picture editing and everything in between.
This internship is unpaid, therefore only college students who are eligible to receive school credit will be considered. This position is fully remote. Applicants must have access to a working computer and internet. Experience with writing and constructing blog posts is a must, experience with WordPress is a plus but not required. We are looking for a self-starter who is eager to learn and is comfortable taking initiative and working independently.

Responsibilities:
Creating new and original content
Publishing articles online
Conducting interviews with both established and emerging designers
Transcribing, fact-checking, copy editing and proofreading
Work as part of a team with other writers and creatives
Requirements:
Currently a student in pursuit of associate, bachelor, or graduate degree
Must be eligible to receive college credit
Preferred degree of study in English, Journalism, Creative Writing, or closely related field
Must be available two days a week, ideally 10 hours per week, for a minimum of three months
Excellent English writing, editing and grammar skills
Passion and enthusiasm for fashion and writing with a creative flair
Creativity and originality
Provide work samples and take an edit test
