We are a remote team, that co-works from London frequently. So easy travel into London should be possible for everyone in our team.
The role
Our Founder CEO is looking for a Founders Associate who will work with us across diverse areas including Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and execution, business development, operations, product and fundraising/investor relations. Your role is to work alongside the CEO to execute on our plans. You can expect the opportunity to work independently and also collaborate with our cross-functional team. You’ll need to be proactive, hands-on, and adaptable to navigate the fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment.
A bit more on what you’ll do:
- GTM & Business Development: Support the development and execution of the Go-To-Market strategy, identifying growth opportunities, building partnerships, and driving business development initiatives.
- Strategic Projects: Lead or support special high-priority projects that are critical to scaling the company, such as market entry strategies, competitive analysis, and internal process improvements.
- Data & Analytics: Use data-driven insights to optimize decision-making across functions like GTM, sales, and product development.
- Operations: Running monthly operations and reporting processes across the business and streamline processes and systems to ensure the business runs smoothly.
- Product: Work closely with the product team to gather market feedback, assist in shaping the product roadmap, and ensure alignment between market needs and product features.
- Investor Relations: Assist with investor communication, including preparing presentations, updates, and supporting future fundraising efforts.
About you
This role is yours if you have worked in a generalist capacity in a fast moving startup or consulting environment. You are a strong conceptual and analytical problem solver, an independent thinker, produce presentations and spreadsheets independently and are a strong communicator. You have interest and familiarity in ecommerce and payments, and are excited to join a startup to contribute to the value that can be created for all.
What we’re looking for:
- Consulting or High-Growth Startup Experience: 2-4 years of experience in management consulting or at a high-growth startup.
- Exceptional Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly identify issues, propose solutions, and execute in a resource-constrained environment.
- Strategic Thinker with Execution Focus: Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on in execution, managing projects from ideation through implementation.
- Strong Communication & Presentation Skills: Capable of conveying complex information succinctly to various stakeholders, including investors, partners, and internal teams.
- Analytical & Data-Driven: Skilled at leveraging data to inform strategy, improve processes, and drive results.
- Highly Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift rapidly.
- Relevant Industry Knowledge: Experience in, or strong familiarity with, the ecommerce and/or payments industry, including key trends, players, and challenges.
