Sending and receiving emails
1. Sending an email to a conversation: If you ever wish to forward any email to a specific conversation on Unifize, click on the conversation, go to “more” and click on the copy icon next to “forward mail here”. This will help you bring any conversation from your mailbox into the respective conversation.
Sending an email from a conversation: Unifize allows you to keep your communication with third parties, happening via emails, also in the conversation for reference. It allows you to send an email from the conversation, track it, and also track responses sent to that email, all at one place. This keeps all communication related to an item, external or internal, at one place.
When sending an email to someone not on Unifize, the system asks you to select their role which determines the level of access they will be given.
If you wish to give the person access to the current conversation or the application, you could select any of the roles in the dropdown depending on the level of permissions and visibility you want them to have. You could either give them access to the lite app, the vendor portal or the full app.
You can also choose to send this as a regular email without giving the user access to anything on Unifize. To do so, just click on “Skip Invite”.
