Full job description

Responsibilities

a. Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure fintech applications.

b. Implement features and functionalities for both the front-end and back-end of the application.

c. Develop and optimize user interfaces to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.

d. Utilize modern frameworks and libraries to build interactive and responsive web applications.

e. Design and implement server-side components and APIs using appropriate technologies

f. Handle databases, data modeling, and querying using technologies like SQL and NoSQL databases

g. Manage and optimize databases to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and handling of financial data.

h. Implement security measures to protect sensitive financial information within the database.

i. Integration and APIs: Integrate various APIs, including financial APIs for payment gateways, market data, authentication, and third-party services.

j. Ensure seamless communication and data exchange between different components of the application.

k. Stay updated with industry-specific security standards and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and implement necessary measures.

l. Optimize code and database queries to improve application performance and response times, especially in high-traffic scenarios.

m. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA engineers, to ensure effective project delivery.

n. Manage deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are efficient and reliable.

o. Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories and facilitate collaboration.

p. Identify and troubleshoot issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in the application, providing timely resolutions.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Software Engineering, or related technical field.

Portfolio / Projects

Candidates should be able to showcase projects or platforms they have contributed to, such as:

• Digital platforms or fintech applications
• Web or mobile applications in production
• Product integrations with third-party services

Pay: ₦700,000.00 - ₦900,000.00 per month
