Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Software Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that support our products and business operations.

You will work closely with Product, Design, and Operations teams to build reliable systems, improve user experience, and drive innovation across our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and backend services.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Maintain proper technical documentation.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–4 years experience in software development.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Node.js.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and database systems (MySQL or MongoDB).
• Understanding of Git/version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a fintech or startup environment.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker.

Pay: ₦228,150.00 - ₦342,225.00 per month
