Position Description

Our Chief of Staff will play a crucial role, collaborating with the engineering team on project management, building customer relationships, leading hiring initiatives, and managing office operations. This role will also oversee marketing communications, conference participation, proposal development and leadership reviews. We see this position as not just pivotal for our current phase but also a stepping stone to potential leadership roles.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Work closely with the engineering team, ensuring effective project delivery.

• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships

• Proposal Development: Lead proposal creation, prioritization, and review to align with our vision.

• Hiring: Support recruitment efforts to attract and onboard top talent.

• Office Management: Ensure daily operations run smoothly and maintain a positive work environment.

• Marketing & Communications: Handle brand messaging, participate in conferences, and ensure the company maintains a strong online presence.

• Growth Opportunities: Understand and utilize opportunities for professional and organizational growth.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, or a related field.

• 3+ years experience in a startup or dynamic fast moving environment

• Strong understanding of project management

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Strong self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Ambition to grow and take on future leadership roles.

• Competency in social media management and web content modification.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft SharePoint, CRM, and other project management tools.

• Background working in aerospace or drones is a plus.
